Ho Chi Minh City Sea Level Rise Analysis
A geospatial risk analysis examining the impact of projected sea level rise
on Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), Vietnam. Using Digital Elevation Model (DEM) data
and population projections for 2026 and 2100, this project identifies zones
at risk of inundation and estimates the population potentially affected under
different sea level rise scenarios.

Key Aspects
- Analyzed Digital Elevation Model data to map flood-prone areas under various sea level rise projections.
- Estimated population at risk by zone for both near-term (2026) and long-term (2100) timeframes.
- Identified critical infrastructure and population centers most vulnerable to inundation in HCMC.
